Harley-Davidson India has introduced its first mobile dealership dubbed 'Legend on Tour'. This dealership on wheels has been designed by Dilip Chhabria (DC Design).

It will feature some motorcycles from the 2016 Harley-Davidson line-up, as well as motorcycle parts, accessories and merchandise.



The 'Legend on Tour' will be present at the 4th India H.O.G. Rally and India Bike Week 2016, from February 18-20, 2016. By the end of February, the dealership will start touring the country and make its first pit-stop in Mumbai, followed by Pune, Goa, Bangalore and Coimbatore in the month of March.

With the 'Legend on Tour', Harley-Davidson aims to expand the reach of its brand in India.

Isn't that defeating the purpose of a mobile dealership? The whole point of a dealership on wheels is to reach smaller cities & towns where you don't have any retail presence. What's the point of touring through cities where you already have showrooms? I hope this Harley bus is put to logical use after Coimbatore.
