Suzuki Motorcycles is preparing to launch the new generation Hayabusa soon and ahead of the launch, the bike has been spied undisguised. The 2018 Suzuki Hayabusa comes inspired by the Suzuki GSX concept displayed at the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show. The new model is expected to be unveiled officially sometime during late 2017 or in early 2018. The images surfaced revealing the upcoming Suzuki Hayabusa reveals little detail about the bike. The new generation model of the famous Suzuki Sports tourer appears more stylish with its new look. Up front, it sports an aggressive design with sharp headlamp and LED daytime running light. The sleek LED daytime running lights are positioned right above the air-intakes, while there is a tall windscreen enhancing visual appeal.

It's time this bird received a beautiful upgrade. From the looks of it, the exhaust should be compact and chiseled. I personally love the front fascia. Looks mean and the overall job at least from this angle. Though I can see the Gixxer blood splashed a little over the headlight part, but she's a looker anyway.

More interested to see the engine specs. The new GSXR1000 has really upped the game with VVT. Hayabusa should receive it as well.

I believe a turbo may be on the cards with stricter emission norm it may be inevitable , to achieve power , performance and still be in keeping with euro 6 a whole new engine will have be placed in the new bird. This will be an exciting launch. And looks, my God it looks stunning. Can't wait to see it in real.

2018 Suzuki Hayabusa to get turbocharged engine.

Suzuki will release its all-new Hayabusa as an early 2019 machine, likely in the summer of 2018. Our sources also indicate that the new Hayabusa will be a turbocharged motorcycle, with technology already shown to the public on the Recursion concept engine.

The big question is whether the Suzuki Hayabusa will use the 588cc Recursion engine as its power plant, or if Suzuki will do right by the Hayabusa name, and offer a near liter-bike displacement instead.

I can't fathom the Busa with such a small 500cc engine. To reach 200+ HP from such a minuscule engine, Turbos the size of Large Watermelons would be required.

And that will result in enormous Turbo Lag, coupled with such a severe turbo kick that the rider will be thrown away from the ride.

It is more likely that they will use the same 1300cc mill and plonk a smaller turbo onto it with 20-30% gains, just like thousand of tuners have done earlier.

Or could it be a turbocharged version of the GSXR 1000 mill? Now, that will truly be something!
