All tbe reviews make ot seem like a jack of all bikes at a great price point. Lacks nothing but excels at nothing either. Suzuki after sales though would make or break it i guess.

Had an opportunity to test the 750 last year. Ended up going with the S-Triple for its smoother power delivery, better brakes and lower weight which makes sense around town. Z900 has an upper hand overall.

Honestly the 750 should be better suited to the street. Wasn't particularly happy with the handling on the twisties. Z900/Striple is way more nimble.

Oh my god! Is that the front number plate holder placed like a bullbar?

Could have done better. Sticker number plates are targeted these days.

Isn't the Suzuki GSX750S in India assembled through CKD route? Or is it through CBU? I am asking this question because CBR650F which is priced ex-showroom of 7.3 lakhs has an on-road price of 8.3 lakhs in Maharasthra. But GSX750 which was a ex-showroom price of 7.45 lakhs has an on-road price of 9.25 lakhs?

Thanks to fellow bhpian Happy Smiles, few of the Pune bhpians including yours truly got a chance to attend the preview of the Suzuki GSX S750 last evening, organised by the city's premium Suzuki dealer - Dream Bikes. It was a fantastic gathering of like-minded people over some good food and beverages. The highlight was definitely the Spanish Moto GP screening at the venue.

Few of us bhpians - nitrogary, Monaro CV8, Throttle King, Amey Kulkarni, Happy Smiles, Coriolis, myself (//M) - were present for the unveil.

The GSX S750 will be priced at approximately INR 9.20 Lakhs OTR Pune and test rides should commence in 10 days from now.

Do you know the price breakup for the same? The Maharashtra road tax is 84900. Assuming insurance is approx 20K then the bike on-road price should be in 8.5 lakhs range. Need to know how the on-road is 9.2 lakhs and since this bike is a CKD and not a CBU.

I do not have the price breakup yet, but I am guessing the Maharashtra taxes would be a little bit higher after the revision post GST. I will share the exact price details after the test ride planned next week.

The Suzuki dealer also hinted that the V-Strom 650 XT is on its way soon and should be priced around 9 lakhs OTR Pune with all the bells and whistles.

GST is included in the exshowroom price. So ex-showroom price is 7.45 lakhs. Maharashtra has two rates for CKD and CBU and so it is 12% of ex showroom for CKD and 20% of ex-showroom price for CBU. GSX-750 is assmbled as CKD and so it should be under 12% road tax rate.
Ex Showroom price - 7,45,000
Road Tax at 12% - 84900
Insurance - 20,000-25,000
On Road price ideally - 8.5-8.55 lakhs

9.2 lakhs on-road makes me think if this bike is brought in as CBU since then 20% tax is applicable and then 7.45 lakhs + 1.49 lakhs road tax + 20K insurance will tally to 9.2 lakhs.

Thats why this doubt arose in my mind.
