Tough one,
I have a 07 MV agusta F4 1000R but I live in USA I have been talking to pple to have it shipped to India. They only produced 490 for USA and all of them are sold out. I think you would have to pay anything from 15-30 lac INR. MV prices vary on model. Usually they sell for around $ 25000, twice that of a R1. A new R1 in India costs around 9 lacs, so going by that estimate I would assume the MV to be 18 lacs.
The biggest problem with MV in India is you wont be able to take it to your regular superbike mechanic. MV engines are wayy too complicated and no mechanic wants to touch them. Plus the spare parts are exorbitant. A single screw costs 10 $ or around 450 rupees.
So get a R1

MV Agusta Rocks!

Hey Honda Dude i can help you out with somebody who does it in Bombay. If u intend to reallyyyyyy go for it. it is going to be a little expensive. Pm for any other details regarding an Import or a Second hand. By the Way bombay does'nt have many MV's and Ducatis. All you find here is hayabusas and R1's and not the forget the HOndas. Small chunk of Kawasakis
