YAMAHA RD500LC. The 2-stroke legend(some say too much of a race bike for it's own good), which came alive in 6th gear at 100mph.

Fully faired, 2-stroke, 90 bhp when stock...It was so eagerly awaited tht auto magazines those days had published spoof road tests of it even before the bike was completed.

My dream bike has to be the BMW 1200GS
along with that any 600cc supersport would do for short high speed rides

I don't think I'll ever be satisfied with "one dream bike" :P
but at the moment..

Ducati 1098S
Honda FireBlade (CBR1000RR) 2k9
Yamaha R1 (2k9 version)

Anybody willing to gift me one..?

"Whereas the NR500 had used an oval piston with straight sides, the road going NR750 used an elliptical piston with curved long sides. "

Of the classics, my dream bikes would be a Brough Superior SS100 and more realistically a Jawa 500 OHC Type 15.

Of the modern bikes, I would love to own one of the choppers built by the late Indian Larry, and from the production bikes, it would be a Harley Davidson Night Rod

Cheers
