Oh that is odd. I was under the impression they had ended production of the Busa.

Had they not discontinued the Busa due to emission issues? How come a 2019 model has been launched instantly without any change?

Production stopped in Japan. In India - it will be available till the CKD kits run out or till BS6 norms kick in.

So this is the final hurrah in our market.

Ah! The Tata Safari of Superbikes

Seriously, this bike refuses to die especially in India. I have a cousin who recently bought the HD Iron 883 and just after a few weekend bikers' meet, he has made up his mind to buy the 'Busa.

The bike continues to command great respect among enthusiasts, at least in and around Delhi, this is what my cousin told me.

Personally, I was mesmerised by the 'Busa back in 2005 due to the craze generated by 'Dhoom' but I were to spend over 10 lakhs on a bike today, I would rather buy the Kawasaki Z900. But as they, to each his own!

The Busa is more like the Toyota Supra of bikes because of that legendary engine.
It's also surprisingly versatile and would be missed dearly.
I would go on as far to it a future classic, despite it's bubbly aesthetics. For the current price, it is not bad, especially considering Indian conditions.
