Cbr 900 Rr

Hi,

How much a 1994 CBR 900 RR will cost(Neatly maintained)?

As a first time superbike biker. Is it suggested to go for it. How is the performance of CBR 900 RR.

Help!!

I feel you should start with something much more smaller if you are a first time superbike owner... Take a look at the 400-600 cc range...

900RRs with 16inch wheels are know to be straight from tank slapper heaven.

gajakesari,

As you are getting superbike for first time, try to get CBR 400 or 600.

For more details use search option and have a look at xbhp.com

A 600cc is enough for indian roads & conditions. It also depends on what are you driving at present. Another important thing is to graduate, for example from 223cc ZMA to a 400cc/600cc bike.

I agree with abhi & mugen. Even if you can afford a 94 900rr, consider a much newer smaller bike. Any jap made after 2000, would be so much more advanced, it will blow you away. I used to have a 92 Honda CBR. Now I have the 2002 VFR. The new bikes have had a lot more technological advances in terms of durability, handling and rider comfort. Just compare the weight of a 1994 bike and a 2004 bike. A lot has been achieved in a decade.

There was a 919 for sale in Poona recently for around 3. In my opinion not a good starter bike coz even though old and lost a few HP it can still be quite unforgiving. Try looking for a cb400(super four)

Kind sir, do you realize how long this thread has been dormant?

A 900/918/919 can be very forgiving to a novice rider! Been riding one myself since nearly a decade! Its the new lighter, nimbler and more powerful bikes you need to watch out for.

Cheers!

Hey James I understand what u mean by forgiving but I'm sure that you're only feeling this way coz you've been riding one a really long time and have come to a point where the bike now feels like a part of you.. However for a starter and a person to own his first powerful bike I think it's a little foolish to start with a 900.. Hey can we see some pics of your 900??
