2020 MV Agusta Superveloce Ottocento (800) MV Agusta has finally launched the production version of the much-awaited Superveloce - the Ottocento, which quite literally just means 800 in Italian! The company had earlier introduced the motorcycle only in a limited "Series Oro" edition of which only 300 units were produced.
Superveloce uses a 798cc, 3 cylinder motor which produces 148hp@13000rpm and 99.7Nm@10600rpm of torque. The motorcycle weighs 178kgs dry and has a claimed top speed of 240 kmph.
Suspension duties are handled by 43mm Mazzocchi inverted forks at the front and adjustable Sachs springs at the rear. A 320mm, 4-piston Brembo caliper does the duty upfront while it has a 2-piston Brembo block at the rear with a 220mm disc.
PS: Thought we already had a thread on the Superveloce from the concept unveiled last year, but there isn't! Would be a shame! IMHO - This is one of the most beautiful designs of recent times!
