Yes I feel am the only owner of this bike. Although bought preowned it had just done 3000kms in 3 years! And this gentleman 180kms in 4 months. .

Yes even if I do upgrade I won't be selling this. The day it's not rideable this comes and stands in my living room then. I can't chance to sell it again ever no matter how tempting the deal would be in the future.

Can't wait to give it some TLC and pampering and start to ride again

On 1st December got up to a gloomy and rainy morning in pune. My phone buzzed with a reminder "Ninja 650 service due". As a norm I service all my bikes and car in December. Just keeps it easier to keep track off.

Anyways did not know weather to laugh or cry. I had been regretting every single day about selling it. As a courtesy I buzzed the gentleman who bought it along with the garages number where I used to service it.
I got a msg from him saying 'I don't even use it , don't know why I got it. Do u want it back?"
I was a bit shocked and taken aback. I had to confirm with him if he was joking or serious. He said he has not even filled fuel in it once since the time he had bought it . Done 180kms precisely. Heck he had not even washed it once.

With my upgrade plans pushed back by 18 months or so, it was either this or no riding at all. Took the leap of faith and bought back Mr Green home

The first big wash in 4 months chain lubed and tighten and air pressure topped up. Not topping up the fuel as its 4 5 months old and wanna drain it off completely. Time to start riding again!!

The person who got it from me has still not received the new rc so trying to get the registration canceled.
Honestly not concerned even if am 4th or 6th owner aa am never selling it now. Plus I know the history of how it got to 4 owners so does not make a difference

True, while it does not matter in case you never want to sell it but was curious about the same.

Also how is the bike to ride in heavy traffic? Do you find it difficult due to the weight and heat?

The biggest factor I have found which plays a role in weight, and often ignored is air pressure. When I got the bike back it felt almost 100 kilos heavier and was very sluggish. When the air pressure was checked it was 12 and 16 when it should be 32 and 36. After that it rode beautifully. Of course it's a 220 kilo motorcycle so is going to be heavy moving around parking lots and stop go traffic. But nothing that you can't get used to. Same with the heat. The radiator does a brilliant job keeping the heat at the bare minimum. On the move its non existent. Of course you can't ride it with shorts else it's going to fry your legs.

Another weekend done ride
Rode to Supa Windmills which is close to Ahmednagar. This is one of my favorite spots and it's really really peaceful here with only the swooshing sound of the Windmills for company.

Updating this thread after a really long time !
The bike had seen very little action after coming back to the garage thanks to covid to each of my family members , the heat wave and Ramzan that followed and catching up with work after all the events.
Finally decided enough was enough and got moving . The bike was due for a big service and as usual it was done at Hyperion Superbikes on nagar road in Poona. Fast quick and a proper professional job done. Got the fork oil and coolant changed and air filter replaced. Thanks to my sedate style of riding break pads were in great condition and just required normal cleaning

Finally took off for a solo ride to veer dam backwaters. Felt great to be back in the saddle after a long time

Another week another ride. This time I rode for work to Mahableshwar which finished earlier than expected . After that took off on some unknown road which went into old Mahableshwar and then looped back on itself . Not sure what the road was called

Finally braved the weather and headed to Khandi waterfalls . A great ride as usual and the bike performed as expected

No monsoons are complete without visiting Malshej ghat at least once. This place is heaven on earth at this time of the year

How are the roads to Malshej? Doesn't look great in your pictures but general condition through the entire stretch?
