Spy images of the Benelli SRK 600 have surfaced online. The bike was spotted in China.



Reports suggest that the SRK 600 could the replacement for the TNT 600. The bike has a V-shaped headlamp and a digital instrument cluster. It has keyless ignition and backlit switchgear too.



The spy images also reveal a new sub frame and an underbelly exhaust. It has upside fork suspension at the front and a monoshock at the rear. The bike also has twin disc brakes at the front as well as a single disc at the rear.



The SRK 600 is likely to be powered by the same engine that is available on the TNT 600i. It produces 85 BHP @ 11,500 rpm and 54.6 Nm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed transmission.

The bike looks much better than the outgoing 600 TNT. I hope they managed to reduce the weight. The TNT was very heavy (~230kg kerb weight) for a street bike.

It is also speculated this model will have a lot of electronic aids. Would be interesting to see how Benelli prices it with all the features. I don't think they can sell this unless they beat all the competition in pricing.

Rightly said, the weight was the Achilles Heel of the TNT 600. It is good to see the exhaust now being an under belly than the being under the tail like the previous gen, more practical. Seems to have all modern goodies like a TFT screen and LED lamps. Hope they sort out the ASS and the price. Else, most of the customers would buy the Japanese bikes.

The name 'SRK' rings a different bell in the Bollywood context for me. Maybe they could have SRK as the brand ambassador for this bike.

The headlight reminds me of Pacific Rim though.

Benelli has been spot on with cloning designs of other brands.
Somehow Looks to me the front was taken from the Kawasaki Z1000 and the body from the new Suzuki Katana.
