2021 Ducati Diavel 1260 Lamborghini unveiled Ducati unveiled the Lamborghini edition of their flagship Diavel 1260S today, for a limited production run of 630 units worldwide. The Diavel Lamborghini is inspired by the Sián FKP 37, which in itself is available in only 63 units.
The Diavel Lamborghini features exclusive forged wheels, light and with a new design, which explicitly recall those of the car, but also the air intakes and radiator covers, made of carbon fibre, and designed by superimposing floating elements on the main structure of the bike.
The bodywork characterized is by the "Gea Green" colour of the Sián FKP 37, while the frame, the undertray and the forged rims are embellished by the use of “Electrum Gold” colour. The typical Ducati Red is recalled by the colouring of the Brembo brake calipers. The livery is characterized by the presence of 63, an important number for the Sant’Agata Bolognese company, which was founded in 1963.
The heart of the Diavel 1260 Lamborghini is the 1262 cc Ducati Testastretta DVT with variable timing. This Euro 5 homologated engine (only for countries where Euro 5 standard applies) can deliver 162 hp at 9,500 rpm and 129 Nm (13.2 kgm) at 7,500 rpm with a flat torque curve right from medium-low revs, which always guarantees a vigorous and energetic response.
Standard features include fully adjustable Öhlins suspension, Ducati Power Launch, cruise control, hands-free, backlit handlebar switches, 3.5" TFT colour display, Ducati Quick Shift, Ducati Multimedia System, carbon fiber parts, red front brake callipers and forged rims. The Centro Stile Ducati has also designed a special helmet with graphics coordinated with that of the bike.
The special edition comes days after Volkswagen group hinted at a potential spin off of both Ducati and Lamborghini brands. |
