One of the most underrated, potent and complete package out there. Very curious to understand what changes are there on the electronics front and how the revised swing arm affects cornering grip.

Re: 2021 Aprilia RSV4 revealed

About time Piaggio got off their lazy Italian butts and started CKD of their superbikes. The Japanese have been lazy and greedy as usual and their price tags have been getting eye-watering. Kawasaki have taken their CKD price close to their previous CBU price on the 10R. RSV4 has a good fan following and has way better aspirational value than the Japanese IMO. There is no excuse for them not to capitalize on this and start CKD especially since they have a plant for local manufacturing of their scooters and investing in CKD shouldn't be that expensive/difficult for them.

The base RSV4 is priced only $400 more than the Busa in US. If they can start CKD and price it a little below 1.7m INR, they'd have a winner on their hands.

The 2021 RSV4 is priced between 20.93l to 23.69l ex-showroom.

OTR Pune 26.5l to 30l.

All Aprilia motorcycles are CBUs.

Is this a leak? Are these official prices? Asking as I don't see any article related to the Indian pricing anywhere, not even on the official website.

Re: 2021 Aprilia RSV4 revealed

Hmm I'd have liked a Tuono 1100 but I'm not spending GS level money with no dealer in Delhi.

Also, the 2021 V85TT now comes with cross spoke tubeless rims. YUM in the Giallo Mojave colorway.

I am not able to understand the rto+registration costs here. They seem to be >20%

IIRC Maharashtra always had a 20% plus RTO and Registration charges structure for 800+ cc CBU superbikes.

I think it is 20% plus 2% additional tax. Maybe GoBlue or someone from Maharashtra may clarify this.

Re: 2021 Aprilia RSV4 revealed

The RSV4 and Factory models were around 19 - 22 lacs for BS4. So, prices have been hiked by 1- 2 lacs for the new BS6 models.

30 lacs OTD seems frightfully expensive, when the Aprilia RSVF is considered to be a more cost effective competitor to the Ducati V4S.

I have my eyes on the 660, but then again 17 lacs for 600+ cc seems inappropriate.

Piaggio has some strange pricing mechanism for the Indian market. I was under the impression that they wanted to compete with the Japanese bikes and win market share. Now they have also gone the ultra premium route.

As per my understanding, CBU motorcycle road-tax in MH is 20% + 0.4% green cess.

I agree, they were priced at premium earlier. Now the pricing is ludicrous. I keep regretting not buying a bike and scared that in a few years most will be 40 lakhs

Yes, the BS6 variant is expensive for sure. I paid about 25L on-road in Bangalore for my 2018 RSV4 RF 1000cc.

Aprilia has a fabulous engineering team, but their sales side is totally messed up. Really hope Piaggio wakes up from its deep slumber.

Re: 2021 Aprilia RSV4 revealed

Looks like the 2021 RSV4 will be launched soon. In this pic apparently clicked at the Indian plant, the RSV4 Factory can be seen in the corner with the Piaggio India MD posing on the RS660.

If the launch is going to happen in Q4 as speculated, who gave the price list to the dealers months in advance or was the price list a creation of a dealer?
