2021 BMW R 1250 GS & R 1250 GS Adventure teased

Looks like BMW Motorrad is gearing up to launch the 2021 R 1250 GS adventure bike range in India. The bike maker has released a teaser on social media which suggests that the launch could be just around the corner.

The short teaser video showcases the new R 1250 GS with the caption - "The King of Adventure is returning in a new avatar".

The new R 1250 GS and GS Adventure models feature an updated hill-start control (HSC) system, heated seats and heated grips with 5 settings.

The 2021 BMW R 1250 GS and R 1250 GS Adventure are powered by the same 1,254cc, twin-cylinder boxer engine that makes 136 BHP @ 7,750 rpm and 143 Nm @ 6,250 rpm. The motor is equipped with 'Shiftcam Technology', which is a fancy name for BMW's variable valve timing system.

Even though she wont suit my height (5.6 shorter side of the spectrum ), I would definitely love to keep her in my garage. Such a beauty !!!

If i am not wrong the GS singlehandedly saved BMW from going bust. And what a bike this is!!

I love this motorcycle. From the day i rode it.
The want to get a an ADV is so strong. But the infatuation of a Supersport is carnal sin!

Someday hopefully i'd have wisdom to do what's right or have the moolah to own and maintain two bikes

Beautiful colour combination. I loved it when I first saw the 40 years paintjob but unfortunately GS is not really the bike for me. I'm happy for everyone else who'll be able to buy it though.

Finally after long deliberation for years and after taking cue from @dkailes elaborate post on his decision making and buying of the GSA, I have booked the BMW GS Adventure Rallye Pro. Being told that the deliveries will happen by last week of March but yet to get a confirmation on exact date.

Which color scheme did you choose? And did Bavaria motors offer any kind of discount?

Also, does Rallye Pro come with passenger kit?

Thank you. I have chosen the rallye color (White with blue and red). Huge waiting list so not much of discount. Rallye Pro does come with passenger Kit by default. In fact was told that in India all Pro models will have the passenger kit by default.

That's the one to go for!

I too heard about the waiting periods and subsequently "no offers" from them. However, getting passenger kit is indeed a bonus. Hope to see you soon in one of the TBHPian's weekend rides.

Absolutely Look forward to one of these rides soon. The biggest problem is the wait period from booking to delivery

Also booked some accessories. Oh man this is going to be a costly affair.

Lone rider Head Lamp protector
BMW Radiator Grills (The cheapest among the lot which is very surprising)
BMW TFT screen Protector
Front and Back mud guard extenders from MachineArt Moto

Have 3-4 Phases of modifications planned lets see will keep you all posted on how it progresses.
