2023 Kawasaki Z900 launched at 8.93 lakhs

Kawasaki has launched the 2023 Z900 in India. The bike is priced at Rs 8.93 lakh (ex-showroom).

The MY2023 update is purely cosmetic. The Z900 now comes in two colour schemes: Ebony with matte graphene metallic steel grey and metallic phantom silver with carbon grey.

Powering the 2023 Z900 is a 948cc, in-line 4-cylinder engine that develops 125 PS @ 9,500 rpm. Peak torque is 98.6 Nm @ 7,700 rpm.

The bike comes equipped with a digital instrument console, cruise control, traction control and ABS. It also gets power modes and four riding modes.

The 2023 Z900 competes with the Triumph Street Triple R and the Honda CB650R, both of which are priced at 9.15 lakh ex-showroom.

Just adding new colors and calling it an update? I think companies need to rephrase these more better. Brands need to do more, even if addition of small features or minor facelift to be worth calling an update.
