A recent Autocar piece on the 2025 Transalp says it can only be expected around July. These guys often get their scoops right.

About the other, I think Honda would probably hold the price because the new model has gotten some nice tweaks to improve it. Reducing the price could upset the nearly ~250 existing TA owners.Besides, it's a common tactic for car and motorcycle manufacturers alike to hike prices after a facelift.

Apart from the suspension updates, I want to see how the new stock windscreen fairs with the addition of a slat for better airflow and a seemingly wider profile to reduce shoulder buffeting.

I also like the new headlamp's appearance. Its wider profile fixes the TA's lean front, which looks like the older CB500X. We need to see if it's any brighter on the road because the current one is a joke.

Hi, yes! My local big wing is even taking booking for the 2025 TA. I would love to get it but the tubed wheels is a deal breaker for me :( I may wait for the AT which I am hoping will come next year. I sincerely hope they get the standard variant instead of just the advernture sports variant.

The days where we can ride the bike we love, are very few. I say this as I should have bought the GS1250 that I loved, a lot more earlier. I am 51 and I have much less stamina to ride as much as I did when I was younger. How much delayed gratification is too much delay?

If you love the TransAlp, you should get it, and then buy an aftermarket Kineo or VMX tubeless wheels for it. This is after you realize you cant live without tubeless tires. A lot of times, it just wont matter much. If it does, it can be fixed.

Hey! I understand where you are coming from. But to get the TA and get Kineo Wheels takes the total cost close to 16L. The other option is to get AT's wheels but that also take the total to 15L. That gets it awfully close to the AT / F 900 GSA

I owned a T 100 and owning that bike and make some 100 modification and spending a fortune doing so taught me a lot.

I am no hurry. I will buy a bike that has tubeless wheels and fully adjustable suspension

This!!

I own a Street Twin and have spent quite a fortune on it's suspension and other upgrades. Now itching for something else and everytime I think of the T120, I slap myself, mentally showing it's spoke wheels

I completely agree with you! I will get the 120 only if they fix the following

1. Tubeless Wheels
2. Fix the insane heating issue - your legs will get roasted. The 120/100 are the worst bikes when it comes to heating and Triumph wants us to somehow live with it! That's bonkers! The culprit imho is the woefully inadequate radiator which looks nice but is utterly useless! This bikes needs a radiator thrice stock size to even remotely cool the furnace of an engine!
3. Better radial brakes - the stock brakes are horrendous. This bike needs radial twin 4 piston caliper!
4. Upside fork & Fully adjustable suspension - I don't care how they look. In the name of modern classic, Triumph has kitted out the 100/120 with the shittiest of suspension! To pay 14 L to get the crappiest suspension set up out there is criminal.
5. IMU - I am not buying a 14L bike in 2025 without an IMU. It has come on a 8.9 L speed twin 900. There is no earthly reason why it should not be in the 100/120
6. Aluminium swing arm - Million times better than the primitive steel swing arm. The new speed twin which comes with the aluminium swing arm rides like a whole different bikes thanks to the rigidity of the new aluminium swing arm!

You're absolutely on point. All of what you have mentioned above make buying and living with a 14 lakh bike a pain in the ass. Of course, the ones who have T120 love it because the engine is characterful, but to have terrible brakes and suspension after paying top-shelf price is unacceptable.

I had to plonk in a considerable sum to tune my suspension, and I am happy with the results, but brakes are a sore point despite switching to sintered pads. There is no bite, and you just pray the bike stops in time. I will probably cave in and get steel braided lines. Engine heating is not an issue on my bike, especially since I removed the Catcon, but I have observed high heat on the T120s I saw during bike meet-ups.

There is a new edition of the Bonnies coming end of this year or early next year. Let's see if they fix the bike.

Let's see. I doubt they will do much but based on the superb updates they got on the speed twin 900, i sincerely hope they bring these much needed changes!

I also know a few 120 owners who have spent close to 6L on new wheels and suspension. That's bonkers!
