Correct observation. Looks like they have got a fall guy for all the scam carried out as a larger group.

Re: Alleged Ducati Bangalore scam: Ex-employee arrested for diverting 5.2 crores of customer money

Unbelievable!!!
Between July 2019 till Sep 2023, 4 Financial Years have passed and 4 Balance Sheets would have been filed after complete annual audits. How can this be missed considering the small scale of sales of Ducati India. Like I read in one of the posts above from a professional Auditor, even small supermarkets have complete control on inventory and sales figures. I even fail to understand how customers or even vehicle loan providing banks/financial institutions credit payments to an employee's personal account. This just doesn't add up. A simple investigation will reveal everything.

How is this even possible? Feel bad for the owners; deeply unlikely they were in on the scam. They must have thought it is an ‘official’ discount.

Now not only will their bikes be seized, they will not get their monies back until the court cases close. Ducati India should recompense them rather than let it fester.

Re: Alleged Ducati Bangalore scam: Ex-employee arrested for diverting 5.2 crores of customer money

Hello Everyone,
One of the influencers that i follow Ducaman has been affected by this scam. It's heartbreaking to see someone spend so much money and still not have the bike in their possession. I would like to advise anyone buying a superbike or any other vehicle to be cautious.

Note to mods: It would be great if this could be bumped up so that potential buyers can be aware and do their due diligence before spending their money.
