Majority of my rides are short ones and very rarely with pillion. But the plan is to go for more short/breakfast/halfday rides with my better half going forward (including occasional touring, maybe twice a year).

I don't own any of the above bikes but have ridden both extensively as my riding buddies own them. The Street Triple R is, of course, a no-brainer. By far my favorite and a great bike, but you will compromise on pillion comfort as that rear seat is only for the show. F900XR is a good bike with plush suspension, lots of tech, relaxed riding ergos, and a good pillion seat, but the engine is really dull and feels too commuterish; it lacks soul. If your budget allows spending 13 lakhs, there are better alternatives out there, depending on what you like, perhaps the Tiger Sport 660 or soon-to-be-launched Tiger Sport 800. |
