Why not do a price correction (reduction) and avoid these discounts. They are going to make it back with their high service charges any way.

sky high prices only to rationalize them with discounts towards year end. The same playbook plays out every year ,without fail at Kawasaki and periodically at Honda. Is it really that tough to learn from what did not go well in the last financial year?? People pick up these cues and almost everybody is never willing to pay top dollar for Kawasaki anymore, thanks to these regular price cuts.

I did get the discount messages from Kawasaki dealer in chennai, however the dealer claims Kawasaki have increased the ex showroom prices of all models. The same is not reflecting on the website but on the marketing photos of dealer. They claim it’s not updated by Kawasaki, sounded fishy or just a lousy try to con unsuspecting customers.

It makes no sense to reduce prices given they sell so few of these bikes. So they need to keep decent margins. Indian taxes have made these bikes very expensive and these discounts are only to finish off leftover stock to make way for the new year models which anyways have just color changes most of the time.
