There r at least 2 identical ones in Mumbai too. Same colour combo.
R1 is no longer a rare bike.
For that matter SBKs are becoming pretty common now with many rich kids opting for one.
Every week a couple of SBKs land in Mumbai and most are brand new.

exactly lots of rich kids getting spoilt these days

when one of my friend who will be buying a big bike
spoke to shabbir a R1 owner and great drag champion
told him big bikes are everywhere these days
every tom dick and harry are buying one
so get ur self an imported car rather than a BIKE

@Rtech totally agree , the Japanese can take on dukes anyday they wish to in terms of styling and performance

The R1 has the killer agressive look , which I think the Busa lacks. But the Busa is a different beast altogether.
ANother killer aggresive machine would be the ZX-10 R / ZX - 12R

u doubt there are less import cars here ? think again the problem is that the fastest bike here should come max under 15 laks a car will go over a crore. so lots of people opt. for a bike. plus bikes are more fun and fast too so people buy a ticking time bomb. i guess i would do the same if i had say 10 laks to spare instantly would opt for a R1 or a zx-12r no double thought to that. im waiting for the day the enzo is captured on indian roads and posted on team bhp thats when all hell will break loose for me thinking i have seen it all

yep thye same colour combo r1 was there driven by the rider form team yamaha...it went up against karan when karan had the fall...
