This is very ugly, especially the back. Disgrace to the old design.

Quite true, babu moshaaiyi! I looked at the pics, and there seemed to be too many things to take notice of. Indeed a complicated looking bike.

I'm not sure if there is an option of getting the bike in white color here in the US. There's Orange;dark blue & black- the 1st two colors blended with some black.

Saw another blue/black 08 Busa just outside Cafe Coffee Day at Carter Road Bandra. It really looks good in the flesh. I liked it.

i think they have mixed in the free way look at the rear while retaining the sbk looks at the front end! sort of cock tail looking bike, i say the older one was looking better than this!

I think in the process of improving the aerodynamics the designer's seem to have gone a bit too far and have been highly influenced with a space craft!

Like most of them.. i too agree that the older busa looked way better... I couldnt resist so had to take a few pics... which anku has already posted the link to,, It may not be looking as impressive as we all expected but when the power/torque specs came to my mind .. i couldnt resist but stared and thought its worth having a couple of pics of the FUGLY MEAN BEAST.

even the original hayabusa when it was launched was called plain ugly but its a question of the design growing on u...its not one of those attractive razor sharp designs that most superbikes come today with...

and its an icon so it dusnt matter - people would start liking the design over a period of time...

how could u compare the R1 with a Busa - different segment, different league all together.....

even the zx12r struggled to be treated in the same league as the busa...

R1 to GSXR1000 is a more fair comparison ( to the R1 !)
