CBR spare parts

Need a cam pulse generator for a Honda CBR F4i. Any clue where I can get one?

Can I get one from Honda officially or will I have to approach bike dealers? Obviously I would like to go by an official route.

Cheers,

Jade

Contact Kishan Rao at Mumbai Central or Maharastra Motors in Grant Road.

@Ajaybiz: Heart attack when on vacation with one of his GF's. His GF's are claiming his workshop now!

@Anku: Bikebandit is useless because they dont deliver to India and they have horrible customer service. Besides, they will not accept a credit card from here.

They do deliver to your doorstep, even in India. However i have to agree the customer service at bikebandit.com is crap, more like non-existant!!
But, the shipping is quite expensve. I am not sure how big and heavy the part is, but ideally if not too much of a load i'd buy it off bikebandit.com and have it shipped to someone whose coming down.
Don't worry, the customs would not really trouble you much.

I had spoken to them for a headlight when I had the CBR and they said they will not deliver outside the US. When did they start delivering outside? Besides, I dont see "Worldwide Shipping" anywhere on their website.

They will deliver international. Get onto their Live Help section and have them work out a quote for your address.

Something small like a Cam Pulse Generator will cost you about $45 for shipping.

Alternatively, get in touch with some local imported bike shop. They ought to have a source for parts.

I checked their shipping policy and they seem to have started international after I spoke to them in '05. Their prices are much more expensive than my contact in the US for OEM spares.

Earlier I saw a post of someone claiming to be dealers for spares and quoting Rs. 13092 for this part. That is a rip off price. I can get that part for around 10K with shipping+duty.

Funny but that post seems to have disappeared now.
