Mod & Accessories for my Yamaha MT01 !

Hi ALL. I am getting my Yamaha MT01 (http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/motorb...t01-today.html) very soon back after the repairs. I am very keen on knowing more on these

-Saddle bags (soft/hard)
-paint job for alloy wheels
-sliders
-seat mod for better driving comfort like adding a back support at least a low one like on new 2009 Vmax
-New handle BARS ( i am being stupid here but just wanted to try if any thing better )
-want to add Two more HID lights on left & right side of the original lights though bit low on the forks for easy night outs
-Good driving jackets
-Helmets
-Any other idea you may suggest

Pls advice where in Delhi can i get such items & approx cost if you might know ! The idea is not to make the bike look jazzy or crappy but give me comfort & space !

-paint job for alloy wheels Only if you are sure about the workmanship where you'l have the paintjob done from, orelse within a couple of thousand kms

-sliders Highly recommended. See if you can find swingarm protectors as well. If you can't find anything here, just order off eBay - The UK's Online Marketplace. Shipping from Uk is quite cheap. I think we have discussed this on your previous thread.

-seat mod for better driving comfort like adding a back support at least a low one like on new 2009 Vmax Steer is your man!

-Good driving jackets -Helmets
In Delhi, try KRP. Online you could lookup DennisKirk.com - Motorcycle, Harley-Davidson, ATV, Dirt Bike, Snowmobile, PWC / Watercraft Parts, Apparel, and Accessories, www.sportbiketrackgear.com and New Enough Motorcycle Apparel sells motorcycle jackets, pants and suits, boots, gloves, helmets, etc :: New Enough, LTD for sweet deals.
My reply in bold.

Thx Manon ! I am going thru your links.

i was also suggeste by a fellow superbiker sinse he found the slider way to expensive for him (ok he shelled out all the money on the bike itself ) so he went to the nearest lathe tool makers & got himself finest looking sliders with custom mounting.

is it advisable as he told he that in about 3800/- he got six slider made for his bike.

pardon my ignorance but where is MT's swingarm which needs "swingarm protectors"

I think you should not make custom sliders and should buy them off ebay, they don't have stratospheric prices, I had bought one (Carbon Fibre Finish) for my brother's R1 and MT01 and they looked good and served their purpose

Just like sliders , they fit on to the swingarm.

Just buy the sliders off ebay, I got someone a pair very recently for 2,000 INR from eBay - The UK's Online Marketplace, inclusive shipping.
And, I would pick a pair of gloves over that protector any given day.

Saddle bags are meant when you go touring. Not lug them around town everyday.

Moreover who know i lug my office files to my office in them soon

I have seen frame sliders do their thing once, be assured that no kind of saddle bags are going to protect even a fraction of what half a good pair of frame sliders would.
The bike I'm talking about had hardly a scratch on one side of the fairing, no damage other than that. This after the bike fell and rotated a full two circles on the slider. Needless to say, next morning I ordered a fresh pair of sliders for my friend.
