I would have been in the same situation as you, had i been residing in a metro as if i had 4-5k with me, i certainly wouldn't have gone for the 250R, something more powerful would have been really good, though a hell lot of footwork is involved, but well worth if come across a well pampered clean paper motorcycle

Sounds like a good deal, if the papers are clear. I think around 4 L will be a good deal, I guess, not sure though.

You are spot on, l_m. Thunderace does look waaay better than R1. Thunderace is filled out and big and does look like a 1000 cc bike whereas R1 is puny in comparison and does not look like a 1000cc bike. In fact, R1 looks nearly same size as a Karizma fitted with fat tyres.

Can i get a 2001-02 Hayabusa for 3 lakhs? Anyone out there willing to part with one? No US imports, though. Hate those MPH meters.

Re: Looking For a Used SBK

OK let me also jump in, I am also looking out but unsure of what ! Ideally a second hand reasonably priced BMW R1200GS or R1200C is on the top of my wish list. If anyone hears one such bike for sale do PM me.
Otherwise anything goes but has to be legit. Just not worth getting into the hassles with the local cops and the prowling DRI squads.
@ lancer_maniac, you MUST transfer in your name. No questions about it.

Thanks.
