old vs new Safari

Dear all... Having decided on going for the safari, I was just curious..... In what way is the new safari different from the old one. I mean, yeah the looks and the engine is a little different but i am talking in terms of handling, comfort and frankly even the old safari looks pretty good. So can the gods help me out with this?
