query about used ford endeavours

hii members

there's a huge influx of ford endeavours in the hyd market, with each car dealer quoting abt 11-14 lacs for the 2004-2005 endeavours..

is such a high price justified?

for example 2004 model basic 4X2 endeavours are going abt for 11 lacs!

what are the resale prices in mumbai and other places?

btw when's the crd version of it coming out?

also how abt long term reviews from the endeavour users on this forum.

Its just the Hyderabad craze over anything diesel. In Bombay, you can get similar Endeavours for 9 lacs or less.

The only Endeavours I have seen on sale, are on the market due to prohibitively high upkeep costs. Stay away. The Ford SUV is good only for the first 40000 kms.

Well, Mahavir Motors might be the place to try, but yea, they are expensive mate... check out Naidu Cars too , he has good cars at times.

Hey, I agree with GTO here. My friend sold his Endeavour which had done 21000 kms for 9.1 lacs with the classy ICE he had there. Model 2003 end. 2004 models and run less than 20000 go for about 9.5-10lacs. Don't pay more if you've made up your mind on the vehicle.

Cheers,
dMH

Leave the endy out. 2000 model lancer diesels fetch 3-3.5 L here!
Diesels are all the rage down south i guess.

There is a black hurricane (that is a 4wd right?) going for 12L here. Its about a year old done about 45000 kms. Owner complains FE is too low and that his sumo give better milege!!!

Almost every Ford has this problem. Not only in India, but in other countries too.

DO NOT buy a 2004 Endeavor (4*2) for more than 8.5 - 9L.....it is like a white elephant, dealers do not invest in this car as the value seems to tank on a daily basis....Even if a dealer decides to invest it would be at a throw away price....

I dont agree with GTO about the 40K Kms part..........

I would suggest waiting for the new endeavor as the value of the old one would reduce even further.

That is not true, atleast in my case. Currently have two Endeavours, both touching 60,000KMs and not a single problem yet!

Re: query about used ford endeavours

Here in Bangalore a 2005 endy sells for 5.5-6 even today. Is it worth buying is the question, simply because the other proper 4x4 SUVs are not available for less than 8L.
