Now looking for an under 15L CSUV with a quiet cabin and suspension for a plush ride. Usage of this car is primarily in Gurgaon Urabn where roads are found in the middle of potholes, unscientific vehicles and break breaking humps, uneven surfaces, water-filled roads etc. Expecting a top speed of 75 for this SUV. A driver cum self-driven preferred even a manual is fine if the vehicle makes sense in the budget.

Your requirements could be best met by the Hyundai Creta S 1.5 Petrol model with the smooth 1.5 N.A. engine, The Koreans are generally good with sound insulation and NVH, offer good features for the price, and have better ride quality than the competition.
With current offers, the price comes to below 15 lakhs OTR too.
Now if you require an automatic, then the Skoda Kushaq Onyx 1.0 AT seems to be the best choice, and with current offers the price falls well below 15 lakhs OTR.
If you would like something smaller but more feature-laden, the Hyundai Venue SX(O) 1.0 Turbo DCT or the Mahindra XUV 3XO AX5 1.2 Petrol AT or even the Kushaq's sibling i.e. the Kylaq in Signature Plus AT or Prestige MT variants would fit the bill
However, from my experience the Koreans do have better NVH and insulation levels, moreover, Hyundai has the better comfort-oriented suspension over Kia, so Hyundai Creta or Venue would be the better options.
Despite the same, I would recommend you get a thorough test drive of both Hyundai cars, both Skoda cars and the Mahindra before finalising as personal preferences, features and overall perspectives differ from person to person and the best decision can be made once you get the feel of these cars.
Hope this helps! |
