Nissan X-Trail HYPER roof Rails or Not?

Hi Guys,

I just picked a Used Nissan X-trail 2005, was wondering if there is anybody out there with a x-trail haveing the hyper roof rails. Need an opinion what looks better, with or without I have added pictures for reference, the one with the fog light on top is the hyper roof rail. Any takes on getting a sun roof installed (original x-trail). Please note that my X-trail is the older one the one in the smaller picture.

thanks

I don't have an X-Trail, but prefer the look without the hyper rails. And I wouldn't recommend getting a sunroof either. IMHO the sunroof is best installed at the factory level.

Congrats on the buy! The X-trail has a cracker of a diesel engine. How about a review once you've covered 1000kms?

Is it 7L or 17L. If its 7L, then its pretty low!!!

BTW, how is the after sales service from Nissan?? are the spares priced roof high??

Hey Guys!

As a X Trail owner I can vouch that its a fantastic vehicle. I have a 3 Year Old Car bought new in March 2006. Just completed 50,000km, Fantastic engine, only issue I have with it is that the interior is very basic. Bombay has only one After Service guy, and yes the spares are expensive.

Yes it is 7 not 17 :-), KKR2K2, ab500 we should meet up I travel to Mumbai very often have a flat in Bandra. Would be nice to hook up with another x-trail owner. We are not easy to find like the CRV's and the Endaevours.

Will be posting pics need to do a small touch up job to the doors which is in progress.

You are one lucky man, i should say or the resale value went down drastically. Last year my cousin sold his X-trail for 19L. It was a 2006 model. He bought a tavera and an innova with that money!!!
