Used CRV Query

A friend is getting a good deal on a CRV, which has done 70K Kms. What should I ask him to look for/inspect before finalizing the deal? Any part that needs replacement or any issues the CRV faces around this mileage?

Make sure all tyres have even wear. Uneven tyres points to trouble also affect differential wear

Which model is this? Is it a single owner car?

You can check the mechanical and electrical bits at a Honda A.S.S just to be on the safe side. Parts replacement can be tiresome since the dealers might not have stock and might have to wait for things to get shipped.

Check clutch wear, brakes and tire wear, if anything abnormal bargain hard. ORVM's of old models are prone to damage at slightest impact and will cost 7k for just the internals.

Check for service history to see if it was regularly serviced at a dealer, if so lot of pain can be avoided.
