Oh my God! What a day! It was so much motorgasmically drunk that I'm yet to come out of it's hangover.
04:45pm (yesterday). A very exclusive private garage. A whole variety of Mercs, Beemer, Jaguar, Rolls, some modified cars with custom engines. Phew!!
The best part is: I'm going to get a ride in anything I want. We start with a modified car which happens to have a V6 in it. I slowly settle down into the seats. Adjust it to my requirements. I start the engine, but it doesn't seem to respond. I am about to try again before my attention is caught by some very KIND *%* words from my distinguished friend sitting in the passenger seat. THE ENGINE is RUNNING! Oh my goodness! I can barely feel it. Smooth as Amul da makkhan! I'm a very happy person and we unleash the hell out of it for another 5-10 mins.
Then it's time for a brand new Merc with a very high torquey motor. We touch some insane speeds in seconds before we slow down and park it. A few more touch, ride, feel of some more cars before we are presented with the mighty Rolls. I am almost having difficulty to make my foot stay on this very earth.
No! No! No! Wait! I have to go thru some rituals
before I lay my hands on this amazing piece of automobile. It's a queen! That too, a very nicely looked after one. I feel the carpet with my palm. It sinks in! I remove my shoes and decides to sit in. Yes! The engine is fired up. The mighty V12 is no where to be found, felt, nor heard. It's an experience only to understood in real. No words can explain this HEAVEN.
Remember! I am on a HEAVENly trip and now, I am truly in it.
06:15pm, Mumbai race course!
Yes, my distinguished friend needs a break. We settle down in a cozy table with an amazing atmosphere and surroundings. I have my orange juice while my D-friend goes on and on!
We go to Bandra Kurla complex after that. I drive and I'm enjoying it to the max.
Another Team-BHP meet! And it's good fun again. I will come back to this with pictures tonight.
By 5am, I was back in my room. Slept for some good long hours. And then here I'm again.
Will catch you guys with more from the performance show. Till then bye!
