I suggest, alternates could be EM Bypass or Southern Avenue.

i think its best to keep the initial meeting point at IOC petrol pump as planet has mentioned. It abodes well for people from all parts of kolkata.

Guys, I dont want to distract but there is a wonderful place at Azad Hind Dhaba, B P Uluberia (NH 6), where there is ample parking space and we can arrange cars the way we want for photography.

its about 1 acre of tarmac surface. I have spent hours there and food is also good.

This dhaba may just be 15-20 mins further than the Midway Venue on the Left Hand side towards Kharagpur.

Seen groups playing football at 3.00 am even while I was watching movie in my laptop in the vehicle. Nobody to disturb.

As most people are working or busy till Saturday, I suggest we have a midnight-meet: Start late evening Saturday and make merry till sunday morning.(and save the Sunday afternoon for taking rest and evening for family)

The Parking is so big that we can arrange our cars in a square shape and cordon off an area and have our own private space where we can place some tables and chairs and enjoy the open sky. The Dhaba operators will be more than happy as we will order F&B.

It'll be fun, I bet You guys.

By the way,BT,is this dhaba beyond kolaghat?I guess then the congesion will be an issue.

No. Its much before that but after the 1st toll after Dhulagarh.

The rest of the Kolkata Members should assemble. Lets make it a mega-meet.

I doubt whether this will be a mega-meet,if at all there is a meet.
