Based on responses so far, let's go ahead with meet on sun, 18th. Kalyani Veg would give us more space & time to sit & talk. If someone still intends to eat Irani food, we can walk to Irani cafe located few lanes away.

With all due respect, I would like to meet R2D2 as much as any of the other names on the list. Just that the venue doesn't work out for me on a weekend. Some other time it will.

Sorry @sukiwa, I have been prepping for Univ reviews related to my PhD which necessitates meetings with my guide and others. I'd have loved to meet you all and will definitely make it next time for sure.
