That is it, exactly!
Everything depends on the individual handling your case. My experience has been the same.

But the radiator fan in the Scorpio is belt driven from the engine.
So most likely, it was the thermostatic valve or something.

Quite possible. Will make it a point to ask for the details when I am able to make to the workshop.

In both, the Safari & Scorpio, the reservoirs for the hydraulic clutch and the brake are different, but use the same fluid - DOT 3 or 4.

Anup, I certainly believe they do not, but I have seen the fluid resevoirs in some vehicles (can't confirm the Scorp) is a single unit...Must be seperated within.

It would be disaster to share a common pressure system, but is it possible they share the same resevoir? Hence, a fluid loss in one of the systems would result in a total loss of fluid for both? Not sure of this...just asking!

I should take another look before sounding stupid!!!

But not fair to the first AT here at T-BHP! Please start your own thread!

Absolutely, I read that part too. So did you show them the manual?

the code can be changed by you only if you have got the security manual. i did not get any manual, so i changed it at the A.S.S....

How come you didn't get the manual? I could post the relevant page in a pm if you like?

Oh yeah, one more thing Raj: Can you please explain this immobilzer thing and how the code part comes in? Thankns in advance.

Some information on that here:http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/test-d...ml#post1256132

Scroll all the way down. Long answer short - all Scorps come with a common immobilizer code which the owners must change. M&M dealers has thus far not informed anybody about this - and this particular owner I met on another forum mentioned this. I went out and changed it right away. I am not putting down the way they changed it on a public forum for reasons that are obvious and I would please ask other owners to refrain from doing the same!

Its an easy process and you can do it yourself. However, to be on the safe side, go to the dealership and spend 5 minutes. Yes, that is all it takes.

All Scorpio owners, please contact your dealership and change your code to another one right now!

:Shockked: I think I have posted the scanned copy of the Nippon User's Manual on some thread here and it was hailed as a great service to all Scorpio owners!
