How to do it? Can you please elaborate this procedure? |
You can contact the seller with a link of the product or item you want to buy which is located in the US or UK. Seller will give you a quote in 48 hours and will list the item on ebay.in
Once you pay for it on ebay.in seller will buy it for you and have it shipped to his distribution center in Mumbai.
Once it reaches Mumbai, it get resorted and then shipped to your local address.
RemingtonSteele my friend,
Yes this works and it is safe. You are well protected under Paisapay if the seller doesn't deliver.
I have used services like from ebay to buy mobile phones and other smaller items.
There are 2 sellers that I know of who provide this kind of service.
eBay My World - shop-your-world
&
eBay My World - i2cworld_inc3
Sohail,
They always deliver in 12-15 days. Never had trouble with them.
I have contacted shop your world and asked them for a quote for a single Das6 pro.
We are really going way off topic here :D
I am sorry to have barged into your discussions, but as far as it goes, the DA polisher you are trying to procure online is not worth the price being asked for it.
Any body in Delhi could just drop to GB Road, opposite New Delhi Railway Station on the Ajmeri Gate side, scout for shops, bargain and buy dewalt, or Hitachi, or even Chinese/local products.
I have been to that market just about a month back to buy DA polisher.
The prices quoted were astonishingly pocket friendly for people like us.
If you need further details, PM me.:):rules:
@deepfusion, how about polishing pads... I am looking for a complete set.

Even the local ones had one 7" pad included, with velcro.
We went to the market for a Dewalt polisher, but ended up buying a chinese one with no warranty, 7" head for just about 2,000 rupees.
We bought a separate pad also-for 200/- only.
The more satisfying aspect of the deal is - the local is working fine.
I bought it for the brother of one of my friends, who has a bajaj showroom/service centre in Mathura, and the polisher is being commercially used.

Most of these Chinese ones are 60-100 watts, it can be used only for applying wax not for any serious paint correction like swirl removal.

To a me, the machine was worth it.
What is special in a machine to remove swirls?
Please enlighten.please:
But even the branded ones like Hitachi, Bosch and Dewalt were available for 4,000-9,000 rupees?
Are they also not in the same league?
Do you remember the model numbers for the Hitachis?

No, but the shopkeeper showed us two models, one costing rs. 4,000 approx., and the other costing about 10,000 rs.

That's atrocious! I got a quote for 13500/- for the DAS-6 from Sanjay of bringthebest. I think I will go with that in this case. Waiting for Sohail to respond.
DAS-6 from
DAS-6 PRO Dual Action Polisher
if purchased 4, the price is 96 GBP. is it not cheaper if imported with customs duty.
Assuming customs duty @ 24% and freight of 6 GBP per lbs. You may get the polisher for around Rs.10000, may be even less.
Rs.6912 (96 * 72) + 1700 (24%) + Rs.1300 (consider the weight at 3 kgs) = Total Rs.9912.
Sohail you may provide some input on this.
