Chevrolet Spark - Technical Specifications & Feature List

Team-BHP will now be uploading the full feature list and technical specifications of each car sold in India. This information isn't readily available; even manufacturer websites sometimes don't present all the data (intentionally), while the fancy formats they use make for poor readability. Then, we have some manufacturers who tend to confuse you by listing a glovebox as a feature!! Lastly, the official websites don't follow any standard display order as such, which can make comparisons across cars very difficult.

Team-BHP will follow a standard, easy-to-refer-to format across all Indian cars. With time, this data will be transferred to an interactive website section.

@ Stratos, This is a great initiative!
At first glance, can we include power folding mirrors and cruise control under convenience? More and more cars are offering these.
Edit: Also rear seat head restraints - fixed/adjustable types. Tall folk like yours truly often appreciate this feature.

Missed the edit time limit and thought of one more item that can be covered: Charging points - whether one or two and whether a cigarette lighter is included?

Yes, the Chevrolet Spark LT 2011 Model does not offer 60:40 Split Seat.
I have just bought an LT Version on 11-May-2011, manufactured in March-2011, it does not have the split seats.

Yes, got one Feb 2011 make LT in March 2011 and split seat, rear wiper, adjustable head rest + body coloured door handle, tailgate holder missing.

these are removed from the 2010 model as part of cost/ feature cutting

AFAIK & as per the information from the Dealer whom i purchased my Spark LT. The Spark 1.0 LT Option Pack (With Airbag) version is discontinued.

Query About Cabin filter
was checking the AC for Spark and figured out that the AC filter for Spark is missing from the location.
- In another thread someone mentioned that even his spark is missing this filter
- Checked the manual and it also don't mention anything of the filter

However internet has this listed in ebay.

is this a direct fit and play. and can anyone please confirm if this filter is present in their Spark

AC filter is very prevalent in many cars these days ever since Industry introduced it. So much so that now, ASCs started to install them for your car during that next service explaining you all the benefits.

If the filter advertised in ebay suits the spark, there is no harm in installing it.

A Maruti ASC tried it for my 2006 Model WagonR and it didn't fit. However, it came along as a Basic "accessory" for my Ertiga.

Did spark ever came with engine immobiliser?
I'm looking to make flip key modification on a 2008 Spark LT and I would like to confirm the immobiliser absence before starting the job.
