For the Verna, the no.1 suspect would be the Evaporator core. This needs removal of the dash for access. The ASS may be having a backlog for the same job because even servicing/cleaning of the core needs dash removal. So they gave you the time accordingly. An FNG might probably be able to sort you sooner.

It was indeed the evaporator coil and some leaky hose. AC is back to its chilling self now clap:
