NxGTR Car Performance Simulator: Test mods before buy them!

Hello tech users from Team-BHP,
In this topic we share with you our work in a car performance simulator, for fast overview you could check the youtube video below.

What can you do?
Basically you can design cars, or just add any other car in the market, regardless if our team knows or not about the existence of that car, then you can virtually do any mod on it and see how it would perform.

You can select from a variety of different tests with special approaches to get the best possible user experience.

How does it works?
It use our developed physics engine, there is NO results database involved, which means that each result is computer calculated with our engine as much as 1000 math integrals per second to find out car acceleration each milisecond

How can you use it?
You can use the whole software online from your browser, or install the application on your Windows or Mac machine.

How much does it cost?
You can use it for FREE as long as you want and as much tests as you want.

Where do I start?
You can check it out at NxGTR Car Performance Simulator

Some questions:
1. How does the company sustain itself when the product is free ?
2. What kind of back-end hardware are you running ?

When users have learned enough or if they are really advanced users, they could upgrade to the PRO service (but there is NO need to, the Free version never expires or limit the number of test or cars), in the pro service you can gain access to much more advanced settings, for example, how atmospheric pressure affects the car? what about air humidity? and temp? engine inertia? road friction coeff? and lots of advanced parameters that are not needed by most amateurs.

We have a cloud framework, which means the workload is distributed between client and our cluster of around 6 Macs PRO, the Silverlight technology let us access to processing power in the client machine to help in all calculations, we used to have an all-server processing approach however it started to slowdown, it was developed on PHP and still available at NxGTR Sim Legacy Physics Engine v3.2.26 it is version v3.2.26, while current Silverlight 4 approach is on version 12.3.5

We are currently working on v13.x which will be ported to Silverlight 5 to gain access to GPU client power too, which will improve animation and FPS that will allow a better experience.
