Palio MJD - jerking with air-conditioner

I have a Fiat Palio MJD. For the past few months, I've been having a strange problem. When I start the car and turn the A/C on while its in motion, the car gets a jerk and I hear whizzing noises around the A/C vents and then everything functions normally. I don't notice any lack in cooling or other problems but I'm worried this might lead to something bigger. I've done about 62,000 KM so far.
