By default leather does have it's own odour depending how it was treated. But you could try cleaner/conditioner for Napa to tone the odour down.

Vanilla essense (used for cooking) soaked in cotton absorbs bad odour. Just put it in some corner of the car and see if it works.

Or burn coffee on a small thali and let the smoke invade inside...

I think you should ask the installer for a solution to the problem. They should have dealt with clients who don't like the smell after the seats are installed. Beware of an chemicals as the seat material may degenerate when it comes in contact with corrosives and strong detergents.

I don't think there is a permanent solution other than just waiting it out. It usually fades out after a month or so. When I had done it for my car, my wife especialy had a difficult time and we had to drive with windows rolled down. The fresheners/sprays work but only temporarily. I kind of liked the odor, though! May be I am wrong, so do check with the folks who installed them.

By the way, the best that worked as a temporary solution was citrus scented fresheners.

For immediate relief, you could leave all 4 windows slightly open at night, when the car is parked. That will help the next day.

Re: Nappa Leather Seats : How to remove Odour

Strictly speaking, Leather Automotive Upholstery, should not have any strong odour. I am not sure if the "Nappa" leather seats are actual Automotive Spec leathers.

Please do not spray any solvent based perfumes directly on the leather seats as they may soil it permanently.

You could do the following;
a. Park the car under the hot sun with the windows slightly down. This will help
remove much of the odour
b. Try some good perfume which would camouflage the leather smell.

I suspect that the leather used to make the Upholstery is old and made with low quality chemicals that have turned rancid with time.
