Nitrogen and Air mixed ??

My 2007 GLI (Read it as Jetta) showed Tire Pressure error this morning ( Tire pressure too low). I got this car few weeks ago and I am not sure the tires have Nitrogen or Air.

Since it was continuously alerting, I took the car to the local gas station and filled air. The warning went away immediately.

I am now wondering what if the previous owner had filled Nitrogen and I mixed air with it today? Should I be concerned?

The tires are 225/40/R18 BF Goodrich SuperSport A/S 92W

Appreciate your comments.

Re: Nitrogen and Air mixed ??

Concerned about what?

What do you think is in the standard air filled by your nearby tyre shop? Pure oxygen?

Re: Nitrogen and Air mixed ??

Air is 78% Nitrogen, therefore if you accidently mix pure nitrogen with air, nothing explosive will happen.

Please check threads with Nitrogen in their title. This topic has been beaten to death many times.
