Old Zen (95-96) displacement specs // Question regarding LPG run engines

Hi Folks,

My friend is looking out for a used zen. He has come across a few which he and his father are currently checking out...

Anyone has any idea regarding the displacement of the older zens that first came out ?

Also, one of the cars thats up for sale has been run on an LPG kit. My friend wants to know if its allright to buy such a vehicle (he plans on reverting to petrol..) Im not sure if LPG causes any damage to engine life etc but generally I guess it makes sense to pick up a petrol run car since thats his requirement anyway.

Thanks

I advise your friend NOT to buy a car which is running or ran on LPG bcoz the containt(H2S) in LPG rests in carburator, head and on pistons which decreases engine life(this is a case for LPG only){For OMNI for example full engine overhaul is needed once it has run 55000 KMs exclusively on LPG}.
Tell him to buy a car which is currently running on Petrol.

the older zens used to put out about 45-50 bhp(i think ~48 bhp)
a rehauled car is fine......if its an lpg about 60k kms should be the MAX rehauling period
