Can anybody explain what is the difference between these two batteries ?
My Alto & Honda City takes 42B20L battery but my battery dealer is insisting that both of these batteries are same & 40B20L can be used instead of 42B20L in these cars. |
I was told by my trusted battery shop that the first two digits in Amaron denote cranking power 'category' of the battery. It is not the exact cranking power but a sort of battery ranking mechanism. So, 42B20L will be relatively more powerful than 40B20L. For Amaron Pro models, this figure will be around '50' for 35 Ah batteries.
Is Amaron Pro 50B20L in production?
I need one for the WagonR 2013 Cng and the most recent mfg date I have found locally is from May 2023
They seem to have replaced it with Amaron Flow 40B20L in the recommendation list for Jazz
