Whats necessary

Guyz my car has gone for servicing and fer the repairs of my broken right mirror


now this guy here has advised me to change he tension bearings and drive belts
which comes to about 5k....
he claims its the companys policy to advise the change after 80k kms..

he says the engine might sieze.
i want to know wether its typically necessary to do so ..

i havent had any problems with the car is in top notch condition

i am planning to change my air filter to k&n..
advise me on this

The intervals for changing such parts is given in the manual somewhere towards end. Check that if it says so then you better get it done.

If it's under warranty..then it was great " Free ", But since you will pay 5000, There is nothing called as company policy, unless you approve..! Sometimes its not neccessary to change irrespective of the Owners Manual..You need to see the part yourself to ascertain the need.
