HI,

Are you guys referring to installing only a shift light without a aftermarket Tacho. If yes then what seems to be the problem it is a a very straight forward install. Several companies sell only shift lights. See the pics below. I have one in my Vtec. The other pic is of the product I have.

Hi guys,

I have fitted just the shiftlight onto my Accent Gtx. The rpm is set at 6500 . It blips when its revved to that. I have Got it installed in Bangalore , Price with installation came upto Rs 1300. Here are some pics,

Please not that mounting point was very convinient for wiring and does not blare directly @ your face.
