NO!!!
this will do it, but is VERY bad for the transmission.
What you want to do is put the car in D (or the lowest possible drive gear, D1), step on the brakes lightly and at the same time press the accelerator. If your car has enough torque your wheels will light up right there (like in an F150 for example). If not, you will have to revv hard and then leave the brake.
Also if the car has enough power, putting it in D1 and banging on the gas (to force it to kickdown further to the actual 1st gear that you cannot select in some A/Ts) should do the trick.

Well My SL does a Wheel spin in EVERY GEAR !!!!! And yea Rehaan ure Correct in other cars. BUT there is another way alsoo..........u have to switch off the ESP Settings in the MERC which automatically switches of the Traction Control Unit.

Hey thanks for ther tips guys but i guess it wont be helpful to the transmission...
And RG my Zen has no traction control
Cheers
Ohh U want to do in ure Zen? I thght u just wanted to know about it.
Also another little tip that might help for FWD cars is to keep the handbrake on.
Also on really underpowered cars it might also help to try it on a slope with your car facing the direction of the top of the slope! ;-]
cheers.
ps - or just find some place with sand or gravel and try it ;-] better for the tires as well!
Revv safe , not for yourself for others too.
If you are to do this often then , you will have to overhaul your AT and change tyres.
Ya i know the A/T transmission gets screwed . Thats why I aint tryin it
Cheers
Another way i used to do it is called the reverse 1st method. It works in manual as well and doest do too much damage to ur transmission. Reverse the car for a quick bit and slam the gera shift into drive preferably the lowest ie D1 or D2. And floor it at the same time. Sam goes for manuals.
Ouch, I can just hear the drivetrain scream out loud on that reverse-1st method. Dont mess with your transmission guys, your steeds deserve a little more respect than that.

Hey Sam,
The logic of that is sound, but it isnt the best thing for your car!!!.......but interesting way...never heard of that before. (It would be less harmful in a MT than an AT though.....)
Either way im not tryin it ;-P

I've tried it in a W210 E280 with traction control and i let it rip. The neutral drive is the commonest way, but i do feel a diff knock is in order either way. But now and then for entertainments sake... U decide
