Hello guys

I have a problem with my ALTO LXI. When I am taking a turn and I am in my second gear and I smoothly take the turn without AC. When AC is on and if I take the same turn, some times the vehicle turns off.

What could be the reason? Should I revv a more? to keep the momementum with AC or is it a problem with Car?

Please do let me know your views and suggestions!

PS: Still a L board - Driving since 20 days

You could be driving at extremely low rpms. When the AC is on, there is less power available for the engine to move the car forward with the same amount of throttle. But the MPFi engine should take care of that by measuring the load on the engine and automatically increasing the fuel supply. In fact, with an MPFi engine the car can accelarate slowly even with no throttle through the gears.

In your case, I think the engine shouldn't stall unless you are at extremely low rpm and the engine is under considerably high load like when going up a slope. Either way, the MPFi engine shouldn't stall under normal operating conditions. Does your car jerk to a stop?

shift to the lower gear when you slow down or else revv more, but shifting down is recomended.
