Hi all fellow speed lovers,, what i would like to know is if anyone does any reprogramming of the engine computer ,,like if u have switched to A high energy ignition system ,,then the mixture can be set leaner,,to get low end power

all the new euro 2 cars sold post 2000 in India are mpfi and hence all engine functions are controlled by ECU,,since we hv been supplied all kinds of carbage that passes as fuel all manufacturers hv been supplied their vehicles with detuned engines that would run lower compression ratios ,,to suit our fuels,,well now that hi octane fuels are available,,all the high performance cars(relative to Indian conditions can get significant performance boosts by tweaking the ecu,,case in POINT,,the old CITY VTEC indian version develops 106 horses,thai version develops about 124,,why cant we get the upgrades if our fuel now meets the grade Honda claims the car requires
