GeoHotz: Open-source autonomous car software

What an exciting time to be alive! Earlier today I read about GeoHotz open-sourcing autonomous car software. The implications are huge. Many of you may be aware that GeoHotz was the genius who jailbroke the iPhone, and broke PS3 encryption (intentions are questionable, but still). Tremendous accomplishments on their own. I just cannot fathom what the modders and tinkerers of autos can achieve during the coming days.

Having watched WestWorld (streaming on HotStar) for the past few weeks, and now this...I am mindblown.

I am very much interested in hearing your views.
