Hi,
Need help with a wierd sound coming from the timing belt side of the engien, Showed it to the local mechanic as per him its either the crank pulley or the water pump but I am still not convinced with his feedback.

Its a constant moving metal noise at lower RPM and becones less sbutle at higer RPM's... What can it be....

Rgds

Hi,

Its a bit difficult for anyone to help you out without hearing the sound. Any reason you doubt the mechanic. Normally it would be the timing tensioner or water pump if the area you are saying is correct.

Yes i am pretty sure of the area and to have a rough idea of the sound its close to the sound made by a loose engien block. I just doubt the crank pulley noise. Can it be possible??

Thanks
