Are LHS & RHS door seals interchangeable?

I am trying to order the rubber seals around the door for my indica, from boodmo (after my local FNG gave up). My current ones are perished/beginning to disintegrate

Only the RHS parts appear to be available
Are they interchangeable? can i buy a set of 2 and use them on sides of the body?

Atleast for Marutis, they aren't. It depends on the design of the beading, if they can be interchanged or not.

On most modern cars they are not interchangeable...

I had earlier raised a ticket with boodmo for the LHS parts, and after several days, they still don't have an update. They say they checked, and are not able to source them. What are my options? My local workshop had tried to order them through a TASC, and gave up after several weeks. I have not found a reliable Tata parts seller in South chennai so far.

Let me go home and try removing one and see if they can be swapped.

Can try to source them from TASS here incase you still need them.

I tried taking them out from my car, and they broadly look more or less the same. I have placed an order on boodmo since they cost only a few hundred. Will update shortly if they work or not.

Did you check the seals on the car ? How do they look ? Apart from top view, pls pull it up where it still is in one piece, and check on the lower side.

I am checking with my SA also.

Tried with my regular TASS. They dont have the left. Only right's available.
