What is the tyre pressure the wagonR guys are using.
Because i used to maintain 29. But when i filled the air last time in one station in Airport road, bangalore, they insisted me to maintain 33.
So with half heart I accepted it ,But so for i didn't find any differences between 29 and 33.
Is it really safe to have the pressure level of 33.I don't used to have long drives and my driving will be inside city only 98% of the time.
One more question.
My car WagonR is 6 month old( exactly 5 months 15 days ), but it did only 2400 km so far. Maruti people are asking me to give it for service as it is reaching six month.
Is it really worth of giving it for service now itself, since it is serviced on its 600km( first service )
Guys plz let me know.
check the manual or maybe ther's a sticker near the door telling how much one should ....
There should be a white sticker on front right door pillar... You should be able to see it on opening the door... (assuming the tyres are stock tyres...)
As for the time for service... As the service centre... Some people might give you time to make it to the required kms... But some will go by the book and insist that you service it in time... Proper services must be one clause in the warranty...

Hey u have a Wagon R right..!!!!
Can u look for the correct psi n put it here....?
regards
KP
Company recomended pressure is 33psi. But we've always used 30-31 psi. 33 psi makes the Wagon R very bumpy and unstable on the highway.
Shan2nu
hey dude but i always maintain exact 35 psi from the day i bought(2000) but i didnt find any problem till now.....
Amit
Anybody here will tell you that 35psi is way too much. If you're not feeling anything, my guess is that the pressure guage has an error.
Buy a good reliable gauge and use the same one everytime you check tyre pressure.
Shan2nu
yep, I check the sticker and let u know guys for the pressure level.
Thanks for ur valuable feed back.
I planned to give it for service by the first week of Jan, to void the warrenty.
One more question, Is it normal to have the ...mmmmm sound from engine even after i switched off the engine of WagonR.
Mine is giving such a sound , if i switch off the ignition key ( Only the ignition key, but still the cd player, power window stuff's are on )
Plz let me know,

What ...mmmmm sound???
Since you have mentioned power windows are on... Ignition must be in the ON position... The radiator will work in this position... Please check if it is the sound of the radiator fan...
Hi all,
I would like ti know the tyre pressure to be maintained in bridgestone 165-65-13r tubeless with steel wheels in wagon r Lxi duo. Maruti recommends 33psi in normal tyres. the Serive guy in INDUS motors recommends 28 !!!
confusing..
thanks in advance
Hi All ,
I bought a Wagon R Vxi 3 weeks back , yesterday when i checked the air pressure the meter was reading 50 psi . I corrected the pressure to 33 psi . I haven't checked the pressure since i got it delivered .
I don't know why the dealer had set a such high pressure in the tyres, need to check with them while getting the First service
Is there any specific Reason for the dealers to have such a High Pressure ? i have now set 33 Psi is that the correct pressure ?
Checking the correct tyre pressure must also be put in the Check list for Delivery .!!
Thank god i at least corrected the Pressure Now ..
My Tyres are bridgestone which comes along the New Wagon R Vxi Model ..
33 psi
preasure check every 350 kms, while topping up on fuel
Got the following information from the Official Owners Manual & Service Booklet of Wagon-R , Type-2 , Year 2007 Model.
If Tyre size is : 145/70 R 13
Tyre Pressure should be : 2.3 Kg/cm2 = 32.71 psi
If Tyre size is : 155/65 R 13
Tyre Pressure should be : 2.2 Kg/cm2 = 31.29 psi

To simplify that, generally, unless you have a non-standard tyre
- LX, LXi: 33
- VXi: 32
M.S.S. ALWAYS over-inflates tyres, not sure why but I guess they don't have the set-and-fill pumps found in most pumps, but instead a fill-check with meter-fill-check with meter-deflate-check with meter system!
It IS a part of the delivery checklist, but in the last service, the supposed reading written in the Job Card was 33 (even though I have a VXi which should be set to 32 :-), but when I got to a pump later and checked it was 44!!
WagonR 2006 Vxi - i am always on 33, and use Nitrogen from past 3 months.
